Job Description
Shape the technological frontier as Quantum Infrastructure Lead at Nexus Dynamics. We're pioneering the next wave of quantum computing infrastructure and need visionary architects to design scalable, fault-tolerant systems for 2026. This role sits at the intersection of quantum mechanics, cloud-native architecture, and AI-driven optimization. You'll lead cross-functional teams to deploy quantum-safe networks while developing hybrid quantum-classical frameworks that will redefine computational boundaries.
Our ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, embraces exponential technologies, and possesses the foresight to anticipate quantum's societal impact. Join us in building the infrastructure that powers tomorrow's breakthroughs today.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-safe network architectures with zero-trust frameworks
- Lead development of hybrid quantum-classical computing pipelines
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum systems achieving >99.9% coherence rates
- Optimize quantum resource allocation across distributed edge nodes
- Drive quantum cybersecurity protocols resistant to Shor's algorithm threats
- Develop AI-driven quantum error correction methodologies
- Establish quantum performance benchmarks for 2026 scalability targets
- Mentor quantum engineering teams in cutting-edge protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or equivalent with 5+ years infrastructure experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proven track record deploying cloud-native quantum platforms (AWS Braket, IBM Quantum)
- Deep understanding of quantum-resistant cryptography (NIST PQ standards)
- Strong background in distributed systems and container orchestration
- Published research in quantum optimization or quantum machine learning
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (Rigetti, IonQ, D-Wave)
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain DoD-level clearance
