Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize quantum circuits for superconducting and photonic hardware.
- Develop error mitigation strategies to enhance qubit coherence and stability.
- Collaborate with physicists to translate theoretical models into deployable software stacks.
- Lead the integration of quantum modules into our cloud-based hybrid classical-quantum platform.
- Perform rigorous benchmarking and performance analysis to push the limits of current quantum capabilities.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the open-source quantum computing community.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong portfolio of complex algorithmic implementations.
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, quantum gates, and qubit topologies.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and distributed systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
