Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in accordance with evidence-based nursing standards and protocols
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with interdisciplinary team collaboration
- Administer medications and treatments safely while documenting accurately in electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Monitor vital signs, interpret diagnostic results, and respond to emergency situations
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital infection control policies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Tennessee
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP for specialty units)
- Minimum 1-2 years of acute care experience in relevant specialty
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
