Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Administer medications and treatments with precise documentation in Epic EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond rapidly to changes in clinical status
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (TX RN)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience preferred
- Proficiency in electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities with patients, families, and medical staff
