Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and hospital protocols
- Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and monitor treatment effectiveness
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) with meticulous attention to detail
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and critical patient events
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada RN license (or compact license with ability to obtain Nevada license)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience (new graduates with externships considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC/PALS preferred
- Strong clinical skills with proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
- Excellent communication abilities and emotional intelligence
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system or similar platforms
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with adaptability to changing priorities
