Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care across diverse patient populations utilizing clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining accurate documentation
- Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and initiate appropriate interventions
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Mentor new staff and contribute to unit-based professional development activities
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee RN license (or compact license with active application)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required; specialty certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in relevant specialty
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN candidates with enrollment in BSN program considered
- Strong communication skills and ability to function effectively in fast-paced environments
- Electronic Health Records (EHR) proficiency with Epic systems preferred
