Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and document clinical data accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RN license with current BLS certification
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in a hospital setting
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC experience highly valued)
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure emergency situations
