Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using advanced clinical judgment
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and patient safety focus
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans and transitions of care
- Mentor new staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Utilize Epic EHR for accurate documentation and care coordination
- Advocate for patients while maintaining ethical and professional standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Missouri
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years of acute care experience in relevant specialty
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required) with additional specialty certifications
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
