Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care in emergency and critical care settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Adhere to all JCAHO and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum 1 year emergency or critical care experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
