Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and intervention in acute care settings
- Administer medications with precision and maintain accurate medical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and JCAHO standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Texas (or compact license)
- BSN degree strongly preferred; ADN candidates with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience (ER, ICU, or Med-Surg)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
