Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients in cardiac ICU using advanced monitoring systems
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Perform cardiac life support and emergency interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Document patient progress and maintain electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current North Carolina RN license required
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years ICU/CCU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in fast-paced environment
