Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess cardiac patients using telemetry equipment and ECG interpretation
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for post-cardiac procedure patients
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health management and discharge planning
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation standards
Qualifications
- Active PA RN license with BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years telemetry or ICU experience required
- ACLS certification preferred (will provide training)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities with diverse populations
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
