Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practice.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state licensure and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in clinical condition.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care provided.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-specific committees as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Carolina.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
