Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, patient charts, and incident reports.
- Crisis Management: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations with a calm, professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- License: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (or compact state eligibility).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New graduates welcomed).
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
