Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Vital Monitoring: Accurately monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition.
- Assistance: Assist physicians and nurses with medical procedures, treatments, and examinations.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient status and care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and charts.
- Safety: Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid RN or CNA license in the State of New York required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Nursing degree (ADN/BSN) preferred.
- Experience: Entry-level candidates are welcome; previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus.
- CPR/BLS: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work well in a team.
