Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in ICU/Stepdown units using evidence-based practices
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document clinical observations and patient progress in electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education on disease management and preventive care
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona RN license (or compact license with AZ endorsement)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred for leadership roles)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience in critical care
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
