Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care for critically ill patients in 24-bed ICU unit
- Administer medications and treatments with precise dosage calculations
- Monitor and interpret complex patient data using advanced monitoring systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning
- Document patient assessments and interventions using Epic EHR system
- Mentor junior nursing staff through our preceptorship program
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Illinois (required)
- BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- Minimum 2 years critical care experience (ICU/CCU)
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications (maintained)
- Proficiency with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Strong assessment and intervention skills for complex cases
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
