Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in ICU/CCU settings including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and interpret patient data using advanced telemetry and diagnostic equipment
- Provide family education and emotional support during critical care scenarios
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and code response teams
Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must maintain current status)
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU/CCU experience
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends as needed
