Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced clinical care to critically ill patients using evidence-based practices
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, ECG rhythms, and lab results
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop care plans
- Document patient progress accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Mentor new staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas (or compact license)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- 2+ years ICU/ER experience in acute care setting
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- Proficiency in Epic EHR and critical care monitoring
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
