Responsibilities
- Provide specialized cardiac nursing care for post-op and critical patients
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs using advanced telemetry systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on patient treatment plans
- Document patient progress with precision in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health management
- Maintain strict adherence to JCAHO and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas (or compact state)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years critical care experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Advanced cardiac life support proficiency
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
