Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with state regulations and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs, pain levels, and overall condition, reporting any changes immediately to the healthcare team.
- Document patient medical histories, care plans, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia (GA).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital, ICU, Med-Surg, or ER setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure team environment.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods as required by the role.
