Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs, develop, and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain a safe and clean healthcare environment for patients and staff.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to families.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred (Travel Nursing experience is a plus).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
