Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse healthcare settings including ER, ICU, Med-Surg, and specialty units
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and facility protocols
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and document clinical accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance, infection control, and safety regulations
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and perform rapid assessments
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (Compact license accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience in assigned specialty area
- BLS certification; ACLS and/or PALS required for specific units
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
