Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings including hospitals, clinics, and urgent care centers
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions, reporting concerns promptly
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility-specific protocols
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support
- Participate in rapid-response situations and emergency protocols
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC, Cerner)
- Strong assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts including weekends
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
