Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assessment in accordance with nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatment with meticulous documentation
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and prioritize critical patient needs
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Florida (FL RN)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in a hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (TNCC or ENPC preferred)
- Strong assessment skills and ability to handle high-acuity cases
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC a plus)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
