Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and monitor patient vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using advanced life support techniques
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control measures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Colorado
- BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) with 2+ years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC/PALS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in acute care settings
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, or Meditech)
