Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while documenting all interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Assess patient conditions and respond to emergent situations promptly
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality of patient records
- Participate in shift handovers and facility-specific training
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX) or compact state
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required (PALS preferred for certain units)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
