Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and triage upon admission.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, escalating concerns immediately to the healthcare team.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.
- Maintain a safe and clean patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New grads welcome with relevant internship).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
