Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs and develop comprehensive, individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and vital signs, adjusting care protocols immediately when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed medical records and documentation in the electronic health record system.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients, families, and staff.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
