Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions using systematic evaluation techniques
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop treatment plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations including cardiac arrests
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active IL RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with commitment to BSN)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
