Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in EMR systems
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts (required)
- BSN degree or higher (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years ER or critical care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic)
