Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based patient assessment and intervention in emergency settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Document clinical outcomes accurately and efficiently in EMR systems
- Provide education to patients/families regarding treatment plans
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- BSN degree (ADN with 2+ years ED experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Commitment to cultural competency and patient advocacy
