Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in high-acuity emergency settings
- Assess, monitor, and stabilize patients using evidence-based protocols
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document clinical outcomes accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Educate patients/families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency drills
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ED experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
