Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in emergency settings, including assessment, treatment, and documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and response to interventions
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree required (ADN with 2+ years ED experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
