Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting with critical assessment and intervention skills
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures with precision and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior nursing staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to trauma codes and mass casualty incidents
Qualifications
- Active California RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or critical care experience
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with relevant experience considered)
- Strong proficiency in Epic EHR system and emergency care protocols
- Excellent communication skills with ability to de-escalate high-stress situations
