Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA and hospital protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years ED experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
