Responsibilities
- Assess and stabilize emergency patients using Triage protocols
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient encounters in Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain sterile procedures during trauma interventions
- Educate patients and families on discharge plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (BRN # required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years ED experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Experience with Epic EMR system
