Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessment and critical care in a fast-paced emergency setting
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation in compliance with JCAHO standards
- Lead emergency response initiatives including trauma code and cardiac arrest management
- Mentor junior nursing staff to enhance clinical competencies and team performance
Qualifications
- Active Maryland RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN with 2+ years ER experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience in Level I trauma center
- Demonstrated expertise in rapid patient assessment and prioritization
- Exceptional communication skills for high-stress patient interactions
