Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in high-acuity emergency settings with rapid assessment and intervention
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and life-saving interventions per protocols
- Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and trauma response
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado (or compact state)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years ER experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with trauma codes and rapid assessment protocols
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
