What You Will Do
As a Registered Nurse, you will be the bridge between our patients and their care plans. You will utilize your critical thinking skills to deliver high-quality care in a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and responses, in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations following hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
