Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions and record vital signs and symptoms accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the wider healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, post-treatment care, and healthy living habits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (ADN or BSN).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated compassion and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Basic computer proficiency.
