Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and develop comprehensive care plans for emergency patients across all age groups
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and uphold strict regulatory compliance
- Educate patients and families on discharge plans and preventive care measures
- Participate in trauma activations and critical incident management protocols
- Mentor new staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ER experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in Epic electronic health records system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
