Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients in emergency situations with critical decision-making skills
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN) required
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications mandatory
- Minimum 2 years ER/trauma nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
