Responsibilities
- Assess and stabilize patients in emergency situations
- Administer medications and treatments per protocols
- Document patient care using EMR systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Provide trauma-informed care to diverse populations
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO standards
- Participate in rapid response activations
- mentor new nursing staff
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree (ADN with 2+ years ER experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ER/trauma experience
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in high-stress environments
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Spanish bilingual skills highly preferred
