Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care during night shifts with flexible scheduling (4, 6, or 12-hour shifts)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Mentor new nurses and uphold quality standards
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia or compact state
- BSN preferred (ADN with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- 1+ years clinical experience in acute care setting
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Flexibility to cross-train across units
- Ohio candidates: willingness to travel between facilities
