Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining accurate documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Mentor junior nursing staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Utilize electronic health records systems for comprehensive documentation
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Kentucky (or compact state)
- BSN degree required; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in relevant specialty
- Demonstrated ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
