Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures per clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document electronic health records with precision and regulatory compliance
- Mentor new nurses and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to emergent situations with critical thinking and rapid intervention
- Advocate for patient safety and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active TN RN license (compact license holders encouraged)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care setting
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Strong proficiency in EMR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Exceptional communication and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/holidays
- Tennessee background check and drug screening required
