Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and update patient care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, escalating concerns immediately to ensure patient safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred, with at least 1 year in a hospital or acute care setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
