Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in accordance with facility protocols and state regulations.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed providers.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, adhering to all infection control standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and visitors regarding care plans and updates.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York or Illinois.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting (Travel experience preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to different facility cultures and nursing units.
- Computer literacy and proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EMR).
