Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to promote recovery and prevent readmission.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile environment to prevent infection and ensure safety standards.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
